Correspondence

At Llanfyllin High School we aim to provide an environment and relationship between home and school that meets each pupil’s needs. We are open and clear about what the school offers, how it operates and the expectations all of us involved in providing education hold. However, we also understand that sometimes things can go wrong. If they do we need to know so that we can put them right and learn from them. We aim to be positive about complaints. We believe that addressing and resolving any concerns promptly is an important part of our work.

If misunderstandings or problems occur it is in everyone’s interest to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. So if you have any worries or concerns, please consult us as soon as they arise. It would be helpful if you direct any concerns to the appropriate Head of Year where any difficulties are invariably cleared up swiftly. The Headteacher is happy to discuss and explore any that are not. In the unlikely event that you are still not satisfied you are at liberty to refer the matter on to the Chair of Governors. A full copy of the formal complaints procedure is available from the school on request.
