Bus transport to school is provided via Powys County Council for those living within the School’s catchment area. Parents should apply to Powys County Council for a free pass using the form available direct from them, a copy of which is available by clicking here.
Those pupils who live outside the catchment area are not eligible for a pass from Powys County Council and with effect from September 2018, the School no longer provides subsidised transport for such pupils.
However, Tanat Valley Coaches runs services from Welshpool and from Oswestry that pupils can use paying either daily, or by parents buying a termly season ticket which gives a discount. A letter explaining the initial arrangements, routes and pick up points is available by clicking here.
Parents should direct any questions about transport arrangements and payment to either Powys County Council Transport department or to Tanat Valley Coaches as appropriate.
Parents wishing to apply for a season ticket may do so by contacting Nick Culliford at Tanat Valley Coaches direct – phone: 01691 780904 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Note: The company have now said they will accept payment for season tickets by Standing Order if requested.
